Pet Shops Boys are leagues ahead in music and technology ...

Pet Shop Boys have created the most futuristic video yet for their latest track Integral (click to watch).

Their new video utilizes QR Codes, which are the square, digitized barcodes, similar to the one in the picture above. Upon shooting your cellphone camera and snapping a shot of one of them, with the right software, the QR Codes can be transformed into URL's to various websites, which you can click on from your cellphone and visit a site.

The Pet Shop Boys have compiled an online catalogue of websites that pertain to civil liberties. Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys created the concept from the Big Brother-ish authoritarian style government, taking on the belief that "If you've done nothing wrong, you've got nothing to fear".

You can download the 2408 codes used in the video in PDF format, then you can create your own Integral remix video and share it with the YouTube group.
