Where are they now ... Squiggy

David L. Lander, more commonly known as his character actor, Andrew 'Squiggy' Squiggmann, from the sitcom, Laverne & Shirley (1976-1983) is 60 years old; married; lives in California; and works as a talent scout for a major league baseball team, the Seattle Mariners.

David's talent has landed him in over 80 different movies and TV shows since 1969. He's worked as a writer, consultant, actor, comedienne, author, voice-overs, etc. He appeared in more than 200 episodes of Laverne & Shirley, along with his partner, "Lenny", played by Spinal Tap actor, Michael McKean.

Some of the films David appeared in was Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Used Cars, A League Of Their Own, Scary Movie, Jimmy Neutron, etc.

Some other TV shows he has appeared in was Twin Peaks, The Nanny, The Simpsons, Family Matters, Saturday Night Live, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Matlock, Married With Children, The Bold And The Beautiful, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Mad About You, Happy Days, Rhoda, Batman, Superman, etc.

David is only 5'3" tall. In 1984 he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) which he kept quiet for 15 years from the public. Since then, he has written a top-selling autobiographical book, Fall Down Laughing: How Squiggy Caught Multiple Sclerosis and Didn't Tell Nobody. In 2000, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) honored David with an award for Ambassador of the Year for maintaining a very active schedule as a spokesperson and advocate for MS and the NMSS.
