'Feedback' To Precede New Janet Album

Janet Jackson

"Feedback," the Rodney Jerkins-produced first single from Janet Jackson's Island Def Jam debut, "Discipline," is streaming on New York radio station Z100's Web site, ahead of its Jan. 7 impact date at all formats.

For "Discipline," due Feb. 26, Jackson worked with producers Ne-Yo, Stargate, Tricky Stewart, The-Dream and her boyfriend (fuck-buddy), Jermaine Dupri, who is also the president of Island Urban.

Island Def Jam chairman served as the executive producer.

Currently, Jackson is starring in the Tyler Perry film "Why Did I Get Married," alongside Jill Scott and Perry, which opened at No. 1 at the U.S. box office. The artist is expected to tour next year in support of "Discipline."
