  2. Sorry. Due to my business relations and out of respect to the label, I am not offering that on this blog.

The streaming files have been compressed way down, so don't bother ripping what you hear either.

  4. Wow. That's cool you got to see him. I've never really been a big fan of his stuff (there's been a couple of exceptions over the many years I've dealt with his labels), but I am sure his live sets are incredible. I'm only just starting to appreciate his style and talent.

  5. Ive been an avid collector for years now. Seen him about four times. Not really the best mixer but selects the most unbelievable dirty, funky tracks. Alot of whats known about him is still a mystery. Check out his only interview ever with giles peterson, it explains alot and its dope!

  6. As a DJ and former nightclub regular for many many years, I feel the best DJ's are the one's who know how to program a set, THEN comes the technical skill of mixing. Granted car-crash mixes will hurt your set, but it's all about WHAT you play and WHEN. I hope to catch him one day.

Thanks for the interview. I'll check it out. I have spoken to Kenny on the phone a couple of times over the past 12 years from working with his label and he's quite a guy.
