Mariah Carey has dubbed her next effort "E=MC ²," and will release it April 15 via Island/Def Jam. The R&B-leaning first single "Touch My Body" will hit U.S. radio outlets on Feb. 12.
As first tipped here last month, the set also features producers Jermaine Dupri and will.i.am, plus DJ Toomp, Stargate, Bryan Michael Cox, Nate "Danjahandz" Hills and James Poyser. Other collaborators include hit-maker T-Pain and Damian Marley.
"It's kind of strange but I heard a lot of her records and it sound like the album is better than the last album," Dupri recently told Billboard.
Other tracks expected to appear on the album include "Migrate," "Love Story," "Lovin' You Long Time" and "OOC."
"E=MC ²," comes three years after Carey's "The Emancipation of Mimi," which has sold 5.8 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, and earned two Grammys.
